All 1M Management residents are required to carry $100,000 liability insurance for damage to the landlord’s property during the term of their lease.

1M Management is collaborating with Rentvine Insurance LLC & MSI LLC to provide an alternative solution to tenants in lieu of carrying liability insurance whereby 1M Management may, at its discretion, procure its own tenant legal liability (TLL) insurance policy to protect itself and/or the landlord for damage to units. This alternative to your obligation to carry liability insurance offers residents a low cost and easy way to meet our liability insurance requirement. The cost to waive your liability coverage requirement under the terms of your lease is $9.50/month and can be paid together along with rent (the “Fee”).

The coverage provided by 1M Management's policy covers damage to the landlord’s property including but not limited to the following causes of loss: fire, smoke, explosion, water damage, backup or overflow of sewer, drain or sump, falling objects, riot and civil commotion. The policy is not personal liability insurance or renters insurance and does not provide any insurance coverage directly to you. Accordingly, the policy does not cover any of your personal belongs, additional living expenses or liability arising out of bodily injury or property damage to a third party. If you require any of these coverages, then you should contact an insurance company of your choice.

You are under no obligation to participate in this preferred partner program. You may satisfy the lease requirement by obtaining your own liability insurance policy from an insurance company of your choice satisfying 1M Management’s requirements and provide proof of coverage (ex: a copy of the declarations page) for the duration of your lease. 1M Management must be listed as an additional insured on the policy.

At move in, please be prepared to either provide proof of insurance as required by lease, or choose to forego such requirement by choosing to pay the Fee.
